Stratton are over 100 years old and in the past have been responsible for decorating the Queens guides with their uniform buttons; they have also had the privilege of producing some of the Queens honorary medals, but are mostly famous for ladies’ handbag accessories, especially the compact mirror. In the photographs, Big Cat focused on the purpose of the compact mirror and handbag, and manipulated the colour to accentuate the design and quality of Stratton products whilst allowing the rest of the image to serve as a classic black and white backdrop.
