  • Creative City Awards

    Delivering creative design to a creative industry audience automatically stimulates debate. As the agency chosen to deliver the concept, staging, print and design for the Creative City Awards, Big Cat Idea wanted to ensure the branding pushed the boundaries and really reflected the progressive ethos of the awards.
    The design approach for the branding was to look at creativity in Birmingham from a different angle, which would capitalise on the city’s natural assets.  This was most aptly demonstrated in the barcode design, which refers to a plan view perspective of the ‘BIRMINGHAM’ logo and the ‘blocks on Birmingham’ theme of the idents.
