Emily Britton, Events Co-ordinator

Emily graduated from Birmingham City University in summer 2010 with a BA Hons in Theatre, Performance and Event Design. Specialising in Event Design gave her the opportunity to experience working on live events such as Download Festival 2009 and Birmingham’s own Flatpack Film Festival. With a full set of designer skills, Emily wanted to take her passion for organising and co-ordination and start a career in Event Management. Her love of The Custard Factory led her to finding the events team at The Old Library, and contacted Big Cat only two weeks after finishing university. She completed a three month internship and was offered the role of Event Co-ordinator at the end of it due to her enthusiasm and dedication to the events industry.

Since starting work at Big Cat, Emily has co-ordinated a vast range of events including weddings parties and large conferences for the likes of Land Rover, Google and Playstation. Emily’s creativity and passion for themed environments is executed throughout all her work, enabling her to make the most out of any brief and budget.
