Emily Righton, Event Manager

With a background in Marketing, Advertising, Sales and Events Emily has a pool of skills that enable her to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Having worked in advertising for international accounts such as Mercedes and Audi Emily’s hands on and creative passion lead her to the events industry where over the last 5 years she has organised and managed large production events in both the corporate and private industries, national festivals and weddings. A specialist in event themes her passion, drive and energy ensure that each event exceeds expectations and always has the ‘wow’ factor.

Having started at Big Cat in February 2010, Emily has seen that The Old Library event space in The Custard Factory is host to a wealth of bookings and outstanding events. Clients include the Conservative Party, Reed Recruitment, Birmingham City Council and Aveda. As well as corporate and private events, Emily organises the most important day of people’s lives with bespoke wedding ceremonies and receptions providing a service that outclasses other venues giving brides and grooms a truly magical experience.
